Kevin’s 2024 positional rankings:
WR:
1. Marvin Harrison Jr.
2. Rome Odunze
3. Malik Nabers
4. Adonai Mitchell
5. Brian Thomas Jr.
6. Ladd McConkey
7. Ricky Pearsall
8. Troy Franklin
9. Keon Coleman
10. Brendan Rice
11. Luke McCaffery
No Xavier Worthy. If you are fast, you are fast, but that is not of the highest value. Adonai is the better all around receiver from Texas and is more reliable. Rome before Malik because of the smoothness. Ricky with the connection with AR is absolutely ideal and my go to pick. The main reason Caleb Williams found success outside the pocket is because of Brendan Rice. Keon Coleman is a sneaky pick, but may be a bust.
CB:
1. Ennis Rakestraw Jr.
2. Terrion Arnold
3. Nate Wiggins
4. Kool-Aid McKinstry
5. Quinyon Mitchell
6. TJ Tampa
7. Jarrian Jones
8. Decamerion Richardson
Ennis Rakestraw may not have the combine numbers, but his tape is impressive. He’s aggressive and has a sense of where to be with a nose for the ball. TJ Tampa plays with an energy that is infectious.
Safety:
1. Javon Bullard
2. Cole Bishop
3. Cooper DeJean
4. Ryan Watts
5. Dominique Hampton
Cooper DeJean is a versatile safety, but not the top prospect. Javon and Cole play with great understanding that you want to see at the position.
EDGE:
1. Dallas Turner
2. Laiatu Latu
3. Myles Cole
4. Chop Robinson
5. Jared Verse
6. Cedric Johnson
Yes, Jared Verse is number 5. Latu is the go to, Myles is the sneaky pick and Chop could be great with development.
